In many cases, our customers will want to know a few facts about a plant before making a purchase. Most important is the maintenance of the product. However, if you are building a landscape, you will want to know where the bare spots will be in winter and what is going to explode in size.

deciduous - means that the leaves will shed each year.

loam - composed of sand, silt, and clay in relatively even concentration (about 40-40-20% concentration respectively), considered ideal for gardening and agricultural uses. Loam soils generally contain more nutrients and humus than sandy soils, have better infiltration and drainage than silty soils, and are easier to till than clay soils. succulent - plants having thick, fleshy stems good for storing water for long periods of time.
xeriscape - a type of landscape which requires little to no water or other maintenance.
